The Sport Data Makerspace is based on a collaborative group of individuals from the sport science disciplines of biomechanics and performance analysis (BPA) and data science (DS) across Canada and their academic and industrial networks. This environment has been substantiated through High Performance Science and practitioners development supported by OTP and collaborating CSI’s, INS-Québec and CSC’s. Members of this group actively work with NSO’s that support innovation and research on IMU’s and IMU-based data analysis and analytics and this will further substantiate and extend the support of sport science practitioners for NSO research and innovation environments.
